Donna Kay Parrish, the founder of dkpESTHETICS, is a licensed esthetician based in Oxford, North Carolina. Dedicated to delivering real transformations, Donna combines her extensive professional experience in esthetics, bodywork, and healthcare to help each client feel rejuvenated, confident, and radiant.
With a background in healthcare, Donna initially pursued her passion for helping others by working at Duke University in 2005 as an X-ray technologist in the Operating Room (OR)—where in 2016, she was even involved in North Carolina’s first hand transplant! Her experience in radiology ignited a deeper passion for healing beyond the clinical setting, which ultimately guided her transition to esthetics.
Donna earned her esthetician’s license in 2015, fully immersing herself in the world of skincare. She further expanded her studies at Duke Integrative Medicine, becoming a certified Reiki Practitioner (I & II), and later deepened her holistic knowledge with Linda Bertaut at Chakralicious. Her certifications include Heal the Healer, Gemstones, Distance Energy Healing, and Chakra Studies, resulting in a uniquely grounded and holistic approach to skincare services.

All booking happens online through VAGARO, the appointment tab or just tap BOOK NOW on my website and choose the service that matches your skin goals. It’s open 24/7, so you can book while you’re at work, half-asleep, or hiding from your kids in the bathroom. Zero judgment.

Whatever you’re in. Work clothes, leggings, a hoodie, your Mom Era outfit — it all works. You may stay dressed the way you are, and I drape you comfortably so your clothes stay clean. OR, I have comfy spa wraps you can change into during your service. This is a come-as-you-are, change if you like, skincare studio. My main concentration is your face.

Every service starts with a professional cleanse. Come with makeup on, bare-faced, or somewhere in between. Your only job is to show up. -
Keep it simple:
• No retinol or exfoliating acids for 48 hours

Life happens. Just text me. I’ll always try to make it work, but late arrivals may have to shorten your service so your Glow Sisters after you stay on schedule.

All appointments must be booked online through my scheduling system. Some services may require a small non-refundable deposit, which goes toward your service total. This helps keep the schedule tight and fair for everyone.

I totally get that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments canceled within 24 hours or no-shows may result in a $50 cancellation fee.
This protects my time and the clients waiting for openings. If I can fill your appointment slot with someone from the waitlist, I am happy to waive the fee. -
If you're running late, just text me. I’ll always do my best, but services may need to be shortened out of respect for the clients scheduled after you

If you’re feeling under the weather, please reschedule. I work closely with skin and immune-compromised clients, so protecting them (and myself) comes first.

Unopened skincare products may be exchanged within 14 days. Opened products cannot be returned (state law + skincare hygiene). If you’re unsure about a product, ask me first — I’ll help you choose the right fit.

I maintain a judgment-free, safe, relaxing space. I ask that you respect the energy in the room and arrive ready to glow, decompress, and be treated with care.

Some services may require a patch test or sensitivity check prior to treatment. Please inform me of allergies, medications, or skin conditions so I can customize your service safely or you suddenly forgot to stop Tretinoin.

Skincare results vary from person to person, and because services are based on time, products, and professional expertise, all service sales are final. I’m always happy to adjust your treatment plan to help you reach your goals, but refunds are not given simply because your skin didn’t transform into celebrity-level perfection in 45 minutes.

Please let me know about any recent injectables, antibiotics, exfoliants, medical treatments, or skincare changes before your appointment. This helps me customize safely and protect your skin.
